ABOUT

Fabian Jentsch is a visual artist, set designer, exhibition curator, and artistic director whose multidisciplinary practice spans art, theater, architecture, and film.

His work is shaped by deep philosophical ideas and questions about history, exploring charged cultural memory, the essence of artistic expression, and the ways in which history and philosophy inform contemporary life. Engaging with themes such as human emotion, living environments, spatial perception, abstraction, and cultural rituals, Jentsch creates thought-provoking, sensory exhibitions across diverse media, including drawings, paintings, writings, installations, and scenographic designs.

Jentsch’s work embodies the action of painting, drawing, and time-based art practices, where the act of making becomes an integral part of the artwork—transforming historical and philosophical questions into dynamic, sensory experiences that resonate with cultural rituals and collective memory.
